Please read these Terms of Service carefully. By creating an account, submitting or responding to a placement request, purchasing a service, or using the marketplace, you agree to these terms.
1. Introduction & Ownership Structure
Welcome to LocatePreceptors.com, a service owned and operated by Amexwrite, Inc., 169 Madison Ave, STE 11575, New York, NY 10016, USA.
The platform is an administrative marketplace that helps nursing students and clinical preceptors organize discovery, placement requests, communication, payments, documents, telehealth access, and placement workflows. LocatePreceptors is not a school, licensing board, employer, healthcare provider, escrow company, or guarantor of a placement.
2. User Accounts & Compliance Vetting
Users must provide accurate, current information, protect their credentials, verify their email address, and use the service only for lawful placement activity. Preceptor profiles may require administrative review before marketplace actions are enabled.
- Preceptor information: Applicants must provide the professional and licensing information required for their role and jurisdiction. Administrative review does not replace verification by a school, employer, licensing authority, or placement site.
- Student responsibility: Students remain responsible for confirming school, program, affiliation, credential, supervision, hour, specialty, and site requirements before committing to a placement.
- Account security: Secure action links, verification links, password-reset links, and session credentials must not be shared.
3. Membership, Payments & Payouts
Marketplace membership is currently 100% waived. This is a current promotional condition, not a promise that membership will remain free indefinitely. Any placement price, platform fee, refund term, payout allocation, or timing that applies to a transaction must be shown in the relevant request, checkout, dashboard, or written agreement before payment.
- Student card information is entered through Stripe-hosted checkout when enabled.
- Preceptor payout onboarding is handled through Stripe Connect when enabled.
- LocatePreceptors stores transaction references and workflow status rather than raw card or bank credentials.
- No income, payout amount, placement, student demand, approval, or completion outcome is guaranteed.
4. Cancellations, Refunds, & Dispute Mitigation
Cancellations, refunds, changes, and disputes are reviewed according to the transaction terms, documented marketplace activity, work already performed, applicable provider rules, and applicable law.
- Users must report a problem promptly and provide accurate supporting information.
- Opening a notification email does not accept, decline, pay, refund, or resolve a dispute; the recipient must confirm protected actions on the website.
- Payment-provider processing times, reversals, disputes, and account restrictions may affect timing.
5. Academic Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Neither Amexwrite, Inc. nor LocatePreceptors.com operates as an accredited educational institution, degree provider, or university licensing body. Users acknowledge that:
- The ultimate approval of any match placement lies solely with the student's personal clinical program coordinator or university academic department.
- The platform is not liable for structural changes to state board requirements, student evaluation failures, or scheduling misalignments originating inside a hosting medical clinic.
- Nothing on the platform is medical, legal, academic-accreditation, licensing, tax, coding, or financial advice. Any limitation of liability must be applied only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6. Governing Law
These terms are interpreted under applicable law. Mandatory consumer, privacy, professional, educational, payment, and communications rules remain applicable where they cannot lawfully be waived.
